They did discuss if they just didn't believe that any of the angles showed whether or not the ball went over the pylon

They did talk about it. They said they couldn’t see if the ball hit the pylon or the players knee. If they could clearly see the ball hit they would have ruled fumble.

I disagree, the way I saw it they were looking to see the ball hit the pylon in order to determine if it was a touchdown or not.

They never mentioned the word touchback, at least I don’t remember them saying it. They wiffed and if Dabo didn’t argue that point then he’s got a part in that.
