I think that would be kind of lame, because we all know they are nowhere near the number 1 D and haven't played anyone. That was just statistically nmuber 1. We don't need to overhype our accomplishments. Yes, they were statistically the best D. We have the 13 rathed D. Our D is way better than theirs. They are maybe a top 20 D at best. It was a solid win vs a good D and let's not get carried away.

Their D is good. They aren't truly the number 1 D and nobody really thinks they are outside of their fans. Just like nobody really thinks Western Kentucky, Bowlng Green, App State, Georgia Southern, Navy, Middle Tenn State, etc etc, have better offenses than we do. They are just stats.

night. Maybe you did not see them hold FSU to one offensive touchdown. Maybe you did not see them hold their previous two opponents to 12 total points. As for myself, I was thinking a little like you are, before last night. That D line was the best we have faced in a long, long time. I said before the game that I would be happy with 25 points. I'm happy.

Well now Duke has the #1D in the nation. We all know better than that though. I will go out on a limb and say the teams at 14 and 15 have better D's than Duke. That would be us and Bama. Also, App State doesn't have a better D than Bama, us, and Ohio State. App State is now the 5th ranked D behind BC at 4. They are just stats.

I'm not sure I would agree with that. I consider Duke and FSU pretty darn good teams. They held FSU to 14 points and Duke to 9.
Scoring on their D is doing a pretty darn good job IMO. I could not believe just how good their D was. They covered almost everything. BV would probably grade them pretty high IMHO.

Duke is now ranked the number 1 D on Yahoo sports total D. They have the lowest scoring D . App State is number 5. BC is now 4. They are just stats.
