This is the saaaammmeeee defense

we hung 35 points on last year. hmmmmm....and all of a sudden a year later they are just so much different?? more experienced yes, but come on...i mean really. We will move the ball, and we will score. We will win this game. FSU has not been knocked in the mouth yet like they will tomorrow night. Time to strap up those chin traps you stinkin' seminoles because the mighty Tigers are coming. Get outta here with this we are so mighty on defense crap. Sounds more to me like they are over compensating because they know better than to think this Clemson offense won't move the ball.
Seriously

that it is the same group of guys from last year, more experienced yes, but so are our guys. Everyone is giving FSU's defense their due. Noone is giving Clemson's offense their due. All im saying.

To be fair. The only knock I've heard on our offense

is the young O-Line. However, this will be the first game since AUB that we have are true starters in on the line, and we all saw what AE did there...

Not so much the knock on our offense, but all we are hearing is how dominant FSU's defense will be. I think people forget how good Clemson's offense is.

who have maybe 15 starts between them. they have another chance to show how far they've come in a short time.
i luv our chances, but i get how much of an advantage some people are giving their D over our O.

later in season teams were more prepared. See GT, NCSU, USuC, WVU.
This year, two TDs against a Auburn defense that gave up 4 TDs to a sucky Miss St team.

give us SOME credit here, its a pretty effective offense one way or another, the offense lives by QB play which at the end of last year wasnt up to snuff. TB is more experienced and leaner than he was last year. If TB has a good game tomorrow night and our defense can have 3-4 stops we can win this game.

Folks, if memory serves me right, we laid 35 on FSU last year. That was with a bunch of freshman and sophomores on our offense. FSU's defense last year was junior heavy. They are all senior now. Let's take a look at them.
2012 FSU Defense
Pos ## DEFENSE
DE 95 WERNER,B. Started last year
NG 92 MCCLOUD,A. Started last year
DT 93 DAWKINS,E. Started last year
DE 49 JENKINS,B. Out due to injury. Carradine (SR) plays instead.
LB 7 JONES,C. Started last year
LB 11 WILLIAMS,V. Started last year
LB 13 BRADHAM,N. Moody is the starter this year.
CB 1 HARRIS,M. Waisome (SO) new this year.
SS 4 PARKS,T. Joyner started at FS last year against us.
FS 20 JOYNER,L. Brooks is the new FS
CB 27 RHODES ,X. Started last year
So I'll give you they are probably better this year than last year through experience. But isn't our offense also more experienced this year than last as well? Is our OL this year better than last year's? I'd say so. So if we moved the ball on them last year with ease, shouldn't it stand to reason we will move the ball on them this year?
Just sayin'

O-line needs effective blocking to establish AE and then tear up the DB's when they (FSU D) run-blitz and bite on the run option-pass play.
