The look on Dave’s face and his body language reminds me of Urban Meyer after we iced Ohio State 31-0. Priceless.

That was the I just kicked the chit out of and your team meet and greet in the middle of the field. And I'm sorry but, Dabo acted as if he would like to go in the other locker room and just slap the taste out of Doeren's mouth!!!Their jaws were clinched as if they were ready to throw down right there on the field, LMAO!!!

I'm glad the reporter asked the question. It looked frosty to me too. I'll take Dabo at his word that he an Doeren have a good relationship, but that surprises me. The narrative on TNet has been they don't care for one another. Dabo seemed pretty pissed about past incidents with NC State and Doeren, including laptop-gate and members of the Doeren's staff taking swings at our players on the sideline.
I guess Dabo is saying the reporter is trying to start drama, but I thought it was a fair question. Dabo's response seemed a bit harsh.

Dabo was not his usual pleasant self from before kickoff. His initial post-game remarks saw him lacking the enthusiasm we have come to expect. so, something was bugging him.

Nothing harsh about Dabo's response at all. He was basically trying to make sure nobody asks him that question again.
Not sure how you wanted him to answer.

He could have said all the stuff about not being frosty and describing what was said without the attitude.

He just won The Atlantic Division Championship on the road in a very hostile environment. How do you expect him to respond?......

I thought the answer was a bit to curt. I think it would have been reasonable to answer the question without taking aim at the reporter asking it. It was a reasonable question and anyone that saw it could tell that the greeting was "frosty". How about something like " Yes, it may have appeared that way, but it was a long night, it was cold, and both of us wanted to get to our teams. Dave and I are good friends and there was nothing to it."

The same as he done with Saban after we beat Bama in the NCG, or like he did with Mack Brown or any of the coaches we play against, and I didn't see that between Dabo and Doeren!!!

Think He dislikes D.Doerean.

I just don't think he cared to talk about it. Or for it to be a distraction at this point and time. He is trying to guide his team through championship phase! Just like he tells the players - he has to have a windshield mentality!
The question if answered honestly - would no doubt kick up dust and cause a distraction in the form of: more questions throughout the coming weeks and into the playoffs and bowl season. So as it has been said already - he discouraged anybody else from asking the question - "definitively"!
Sometimes I think - the reporters aren't listening to the coaching staff or players! Dabo and the coaching staff have basically told you how they keep from pulling a Wisconsin or a Georgia. They don't get complacent. They don't look too far ahead. They don't dwell on the last game. Yet the questions sometimes are like _ dang here we go again asking these guys to "take their hands off the wheel"! When your mind is on all that other stuff you can't "keep your hands on the wheel"! I.E. focus on what the task is at hand "RIGHT NOW"! < - - - - my observation and take anyway.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and I'm more than ok with that, but IMO, there is bad blood between those two HC's, and it is also my opinion that who ever didn't see or feel that with their post game meeting on the field, they are just blind, or they are willing to back up Dabo and his response to the question!!!

Did you notice that he had a handful of towels for Dave, but I guess he saw that Dave was not in a good mood, so he did a "nevermind". ??

Somebody, quick, find out what size gloves Dave wears. Maybe we can send him a pair for Christmas so his hands won't be so "FROSTY".

Pretty much deflected the answer for something that didn't need to be any bigger than it was.
Dave got smoked and wasn't taking it well. He had that 1000 yard stare as he contemplated life walking across the field.

What difference does it make? Dave won’t be around much longer anyway. But let’s all do a story to get those “clicks.”’
