this is my feeling also. What have these guys been doing? what did they do post LSU? For the most part it is experienced guys who have performed well before other than a rb who is new to the position

I expect them to turn it around and play like the second half of the Troy game.
Our Defense looks tough, and I hope the Offense is out of their coma!
Go Tigers, Beat Georgia Tech!!!

HOWEVER, between Case and coaches, he has failed to develop. Cade still is several seconds late on most passes. His vision is not NFL- ready. He sees things slowly, and by the time he releases the pass, he has tipped his plans to the DB and safety so too often he puts his receiver in a high risk situation. Work to do.

Too many options! Throw the good, quick pass instead of the late perfect choice!
Quick hits to the Tight End, wide receiver screens, quick slants, and dump offs to Randall on the outside. Move the chains, then throw deep and continue to mix in quick hitting runs. The show developing plays are part of Riley's offense, SPEED IT UP.
Go Tigers, Beat Georgia Tech!!

"Throw the good, quick pass instead of the late perfect choice!"
There's something to this.
The QB scans through progressions, first option open? Throw it. First option not open? Go to option two. If he's open? Throw it. If he's not open, go to the next read.
I think at times Cade is trying to hard to be the Madden QB that can see the whole field and make the perfect throw, when in reality he needs to just let it rip and take the 7 yard completion in the flat to Tyler Brown the moment it comes open. Instead he's waiting, waiting, waiting for TJ Moore to come open on the 15 yard crosser and that might not ever happen.
We are behind the sticks too much and getting into way too many 3rd and medium, 3rd and long situations and they're drive killers.

IMO it isn't that they have a lot of work to do, it's mostly Cade needing to clam down and go through his progression without getting overly excited and trying to rush things. He just needs to clean up and correct some things with himself and they'll be a really good team...

Funny you said Case. Head Case recently. Hopefully he will get things going again.

I thought his brief analysis of Randall was dead on. He lacks lateral quickness and experience. If Randall gets out in space, watch out. But he's not savvy enough today to manufacture yards by patiently hitting a hole.

The offensive explosiveness potential is there by the film. CK is not taking advantage of the opportunities. O line is next concern. New guys and a few older guys are not reliable...yet. Hopefully, they start to mesh next game. Too many mistakes. Play calling is good by the film.

I hate to say it........but that little twit is totally correct in his assessment. Having painfully made this public admission of agreeing with Twit McElroy has made feel nauseous. Guess I will wrap my head in aluminum foil and put it in the microwave. GO TIGERS!!! BEAT GA TECH!!!

Interesting points. Why didn't we adjust to the Troy defense (DBs and Safeties) playing tight on line of scrimmage? Did our coaches even see that? I think LSU did that too. We should have adjusted after week 1.
