Delaware: Are they the only school with a female mascot even for their men's teams? I never really thought about it. Even the Coota are Lady Gamecocks or some such mess.. Is Colorado St the Lady Rams? Our Tigers are already PC and gender neutral ??

Ok, doom and gloom people. We lost to mighty Delaware so is it time to fire Amanda Butler? I am watching Loyola of Chicago dismantle Illinois so far and I looked at their roster and was amazed that as huge as Chicago is there are not more guys from there. The one thing I will say about Coach Brownell is he needs to broaden his reach in recruiting especially with foreign players. It is not solely dependent on this but we all need to realize that without the decision CJ Spiller made years ago to come to Clemson, our football might not be where we are. Coach Brownell needs a CJ Spiller to change the program.

Agree that it might take that one big star recruit to change other recruits impression of Clemson. But I'm not wanting us to get into the "one and done" players. Don't care how good they are.

One, he's had a couple cj spillers and didn't do anything to sustain it. As for Loyola, we've out recruited them by a mile.

If you watched, you could clearly tell they willed their way to a W with real grit... It's coaching.
