He's gradually working TL in. It won't be long. KB is needed in any case. By playoff time TL will be getting the majority of the snaps.

important to make a deep playoff run, but Kelly has played well, and outperformed TL in a tough spot in College Station. Both have played well, but Kelly is the starter for a reason.

Having 2 (3) good QBs is a blessing. Dabo is smart and courageous to embrace this opportunity to take advantage of KBs strengths - toughness, cool head, leadership and experience, superior running ability - while getting the future starter TL valuable reps under game intensity pressure. This goes against the tide of conventional coaching - but this is why Clemson is different. Good young players play early at Clemson and develop quickly. Even Bama and Georgia (our main competition for 5 stars) are getting Freshman 5-stars Playing Time early. This is the new normal in CFB and Dabo is smart to embrace it. Plus it has the added bonus of giving Opponents more to have to prep for and more to defend. Go Tigers. If it ain’t fixed don’t break it. Whatever.

It doesn't matter if we have Tom Bradey at QB, if a couple of our O linemen don't significantly improve quickly, then we may be watching the playoffs from home.

I think he was more talking about not putting KB out there while injured. He was a sitting duck in the Syracuse game last year and thats what caused him to get a concussion
