This is a sad one because I thought Clelin Ferrell would be playing in the NFL for years.

Yes, I too thought thought he would stay longer. However, the nfl average for defensive linemen is 3.5 years. Hopefully he gets picked up by someone else.

Hate that, but hopefully another team will pick him up soon.

Most of these Clemson Ballers

have earned more than most Clemson grads, professionals, engineers and 30-year pension holders in a very short amount of time. The questions are: 1) Did their family, agents, accountants and/or business mgrs steal their money from them? Or, 2) did they save and invest their money in solid investments (not their friend, cousin's or brother's bar & grill? 3) Can they balance a check book? 4) Do the drive a Toyota Sequoia or a Lamborghini, Maybach or Rolls Royce? 5) Did they pay off a nice house or make a wise investment in liquid real estate?

Some of these guys can and will extend their careers playing for a discount on NFL practice squads, Canada, or the minor leagues - still decent money. The average NFL career in the NFL is 3.3 years (2.57 for RBs and 4.5 years for K's). Time to move on to coaching, car sales and other opportunities. Stay active men and keep working hard & investing wisely. Pulling for all of you in the real world.
