Going into the season I thought that would be his biggest issue making the transition to RB. WRs just aren't used to handling the ball that much and gauntlet drills in practice aren't realistic enough to truly get a guy ready for having the ball constantly raked at. Over the bye week his biggest emphasis needs to be on "high and tight".

He plays very upright and takes a lot of shots, and really doesn't protect the ball very well going into the LOS. Surprised he hasn't fumbled more than he has.

Well, in all fairness, once he gets into a rhythm, we yank him out and quit feeding him so cade can get his 50 passes in.

AR instead asked - well, how can I help my team? Very humble in his interviews - "I let my team down" after rushing for 8 yds / carry and scoring a TD.

I suspect he'll be doing exactly what you suggest over the bye,

Ball security techniques can be learned.

The negative feedback from fumbling too much is a powerful motivator to learn how to be better with ball security.
