So McShay has each of these Clemson players going to a team that needs to fill another position but the Clemson player is "too good a value to leave on the board"? Do NFL teams look at their picks this way? I mean other team not picking players that are too good a value to pass up for the next team to select? If the Texans find some receiver they like still on the boards are they going to pick him instead of the OL they so desperately need?

A team can always find use for a good DL. Also, the Eagles for instance need a CB, but let's say there isn't really a CB available at the time they love. Are they supposed to draft a CB they feel ok about that may not be much better than one they feel they can draft in the 2nd round simply because they need one? Or do they draft someone they feel could potentially be a pro bowler for years to come on the DL?

I'm not saying this will be their thoughts when their pick comes up, but there is some logic to what McShay is saying there IMO.
