Exactly! I believe that was the focus for Etienne his final year. Travis had the running ability but, need to learn to catch passes to improve his stock for the NFL. Adam may be the best player that Dabo has ever gotten out of his “locker room” portal. RUN ADAM RUN!!!!

Something in my gut just tells me that Adam Randall is going to shine, and shine bright this year. He can catch the ball, he can block, he can run with the ball. What else do you need out of a running back. As long as he knows the playbook, he has the potential to be the ultimate weapon.
I get all the hype on the freshman, and that cool and all... but this story with Randall can be really special. Lets go, it's almost game time!

I sincerely hope this is one of my worst takes for the season but I just dont see him as being really all that productive. I am thinking 600-700yds this season.
Vision to run with the ball as a WR that is beyond that LoS is pretty different than vision running behind the LoS and 8-13 massive humans in your way. I see him more as a change of pace or gadget RB.

I would assume that he is a decent blocker having played Wide Reciever, but the size of the guys he's going to be blocking now will be much much bigger. I think he could be a #### of a weapon.

That's what I was thinking. If he can handle his role(job) like that dude with Notre Dame did a couple years ago, then we will be fine. Remember how he chopped blocked and dove at the feet of all those "massive humans" rushing in. On top of 250 yards all purpose. He single handedly won that game for the angry Irishman. #23 I think. Im too lazy and too drunk to look it up

Above all else, ball security. Don't turn the ball over and the rest will take care of itself for him. He's plenty strong and fast enough to become a good back if he doesn't fumble his way out of the role.

I think most were aware this is the right decision.
But don't confuse " starter " with workhorse.
I expect AR to get 50-60 % of the load with EZ and GD and Adams to split the difference.
And Gideon may outshine the rest.
You don't earn freshman All -American honors by riding the pine " until later in the season ". Imo
