Wow!!!! Congratulations. This is huge. #6, I did not see that coming with a first round bye and playing at historic Riggs... you earned it on your reputation And playing for the acc crown.

Fantastic coach! Get them fellas rested and healed. Ready for another run. Honestly speaking, I'd be elated if we made the final 4 this year.

know were they (Cuse) just better yesterday or did we have an off day. I known they also beat us earlier in the year at home. JUst trying to get a handle on where we are.

You would have to say the Syracuse team is better after the two results, especially considering one was at Riggs and the other was in front of a largely pro Clemson crowd in Cary. Syracuse has a veteran team and has a lot of size. The good news is that I think we could beat them if the ball bounces right. We were very competitive in both matches when you consider possession, corners, and shots. Would be awesome to get another crack at them in the NCAA's!

I knew our run through the ACC tourney would be big and get us one or two home matches. Didn't expect this high but the ACC gets the most respect by far of any conference. Kind of like the SEC in football. So excited and will be driving down from Asheville for all games we are in!

I'm just wondering if our styles just don't match up with Syracuse. If not, let's hope they are beaten and we don't have to play them in the tournament. Soccer is just such a quirky game where you can dominate an entire game and still lose ....... although we did not do that yesterday. Go Tigers!

I would say that there size is a problem for us and probably just about anyone they play. Rare to see that many guys that seem 6ft plus with blazing speed on one team. I think we can beat them if the ball bounces right when we play them. Their two goals were on a misclear and what seemed like an offsides. They basically got the bounce and luck in that game although they did have more close chances overall.

The bracket shows the 3rd round games are on Nov 26 and 27th. Thursday would be Thanksgiving the 24th so I'm guessing the content of the article got this wrong. Sounds like we will play either Sat or Sunday.

My bad they are referring to the first round match between UCLS and California Baptist being on Thursday. If we advance past the winner of that game we play either the Saturday or Sunday after Thanksgiving.
