The latest Mr Clemson! Remember when there were those that thought he wasn’t really committed to Clemson when he committed? This is awesome and I hope his patience is being paid off (in a good way) with some good NIL $$$ and growth lead to a huge season and NFL paycheck at the end of next season.

OK, I may get flamed for this but I don't see any way possible that XT can play at the next level at DE. He's waaay too small at 6'2". Go back a year. The first pick in the draft was Travon Walker who was a DE at UGA. Blew it off the charts at the combine - 6'5" and 276 with a 4.51 forty. So for the present. What position does he play? The answer is outside linebacker. In a nutshell, he has struggled. With his measurables I would guess he will develop.
So here it comes. XT needs to be moved to and learn the WILL or SAM linebacker position as that's his only realistic shot. I'm seeing he runs 4.58 which puts him mid pack for NFL linebackers.
Glad to have him back BTW - think he can contribute regardless of position but would like to see him in a realistic role considering a next level chance.

Indeed, ‘short’ guys like Vic Beasley have had all-pro seasons as a pass rush specialist LB in the NFL.
XT will fit that role perfectly.
His strength and mass, relative to Beasley, will give him a power advantage (relative to what V.Beasley brought to the table) against NFL tackles who can get a partial grasp (but not a full hands-on) on him.
V.Beasley of course played DE for us; in college DE position offers more looks as a pass rusher.
XT’s best positional platform in college for making to the NFL is at DE.
