You guys are right, if a recruit is just looking for money 💰 TAMU, Texas, Ohio State and Michigan have the deepest pockets.
Texas A&M is desperate to win another National Championship, since their first three were about 100 years ago. 1919, 1927 and 1939.
We have to get the guys that value Clemson, player development and not just cash 💰 💵

It is totally possible he just liked A&M better than Clemson. Okya, that not possible.... We don't actually know why he chose ATM instead of us...might have been money, but to know that we would have to know what Clemson offered and what the Aggies offered. I have yet to see anything.
However, we are in fact Clemson fans and none of us could ever see why any player might want to play someplace else. So it must be money or some other nepharious reason.....
In the end, if we do have less money than the other schools being mentioned then that leaves us with the stark reality the we cannot p1ss away tons of cash on anyone that has yet to play a down of college football.

Nkemdiche was mostly a bust. He was drafted, but he was average in college or even a bit below average. Yet, Mel Kiper had him as his top draft pick. I emailed him and told him to watch game tape and suddenly he has him way down his list.

Well said. I feel the same way. Who knows what really swayed him. Everyone says nil but I don't think That was it. He's been here more than any other school... and talked to enough team members to know he'd get money. I really don't understand this one. He's playing here day 1.
I don't know who their de coach is, but he must have connected with him. Kids.

Some programs have incredible recruiting networks. It goes well beyond a coach or the brand name of the school. There are well funded salesman/ women wining and dining a high school kid

Don’t be vindictive. I’d take him from the portal because at least he wasn’t a jerk about it like some.
We had one of the top OTs reject us on July 4th because Texas Tech up front offered him a million dollars. Can’t blame a kid from poverty for taking the money, but it was the way he did it.
He said on his little press conference that he was picking the Longhorns, but then said he changed his mind and was going to Texas Tech. Now, that’s a jerk move and I wouldn’t want him ever. But, Bryce Perry-Wright didn’t do that.

That's not really a shocker bc, Texas A&M boosters have tons of cash. Even though they're not supposed to interfere with recruits by enticing with large sums of under the table cash, they do bc they don't operate under the same rules that a Clemson-Dabo Swinney program operates under!!!

The only thing that will stop booster cash from interfering with college sports is a penalty that severely punishes the booster, and the school involved. IMO the school should lose the right to offer the program that was involved for no less than 10 years with a very large fine. The booster/boosters involved should have to pay no less than a $100K fine. Those are penalties that will work "MOST" of the time with most cases of recruit tampering. One more thing, the recruit involved should never be allowed to even play at a D-1 school... I mean we would like to see rule changes that would work, Right!!!
