First of all, I am happy that he is staying. Second, why commit if you are not shutting down your recruitment. Shouldn’t those two things go hand in hand?

I totally agree he should have shut down recruitment as soon as he committed especially with tampering going on.

Everything you're saying is correct. I have just learned to accept that social media and NIL have changed the game and it d@mn sure has changed the player. Not saying I agree with these changes but I am bothered by all these present and former coaches, AD's, College presidents, NCAA officals complaining when for decades they did nothing but financially exploit these kids. With that in mind.....let the kids have a fun for a few years then let the adults come back in the room and come up with a solution all parties can live with.

Exploited???? Smh. It seems that another thing that has lost its value is education. 95% of these kids are not going to be professional athletes, so hand them some money and devalue it even more. And we wonder why they end up with nothing after they're gone....

I almost feel sorry for UGa. They "only" have 31 so far. As an SEC school, don't they get at least 35 a year?

Knoxville is probably the only SEC town that I like. I like Austin, but I’m talking about the old days when it was much smaller and less liberal. The river is badly polluted, but it’s still cool looking right by the stadium.
My favorite college towns:
Clemson
Knoxville
Ann Arbor
State College
San Marcos, Texas.
Anyway, all that to say it’s always nice to steal one from a town like Knoxville.

By the river, I’m talking about the Tennessee River. Austin has basically a river, too, but it’s called Town Lake because it’s dammed up.
