I was at the 2008 Clemson vs Maryland game when we were ranked 20. We led 17-6 at halftime and ended up losing 20-17.
I appreciate all wins because there was a time we weren’t winning! If we win every game and the natty by 1 point that’s fine with me. We can’t be spoiled fans. A win is a win, no matter how, the score, or the circumstances. Just win.

armchair observation: Tigers scored 47 points, rolled up over 400 yard offense but did not seem focused, no fire, turnovers, blocked punt, Syracuse younger players smacked the Tigers in the mouth several times. Tigers were not ready to play, out of synch and played down to their competition and was in a hurry to get the game over. But they still won. I call it an ugly win. But an ugly win won't cut it against the big boys. Every week every team brings their all and look to make any statement against the tigers. Season will be over soon enough. Time to bring it every game. But a win is a win no matter how ugly.

I do agree with him. Most of what happens in the game is correctable and it’s better than a loss. I’m just worried with all the drops the WR and TEs have. Then throw in the blocking for kickers and it could turn into a recipe for disaster later in the year.
