Says a lot about him as a person..

and about Clemson as a special institution, place & football program too.

Disappointed about his injury and need for shoulder strap support.

Clemson is much better than Norman in so many ways. His dad may have wanted to be a head coach and more money, but there’s absolutely no reason a player should prefer OU over Clemson.

We've got some impressive leaders on our team but Tyler may be the most impressive interview I've heard today. You can tell that dude it's mature beyond his years and I guess that's no surprise. To this point I've been extremely depressed with his athletic abilities as well.

Nice human interest story. I hope Venables is staying because his girlfriend is too cute to leave. That said, hopefully Tyler takes care of that shoulder he will need the rest of his life.

Always loved his aggressiveness!!! Had no idea that he tore his Pec. Either I somehow missed this -or- it was not reported. Hoping Tyler stays Healthy and has a great year!

Do you think that just possibly Tyler has a serious GF at Clemson? Why would he want
to leave Clemson, indeed?

Glad to hear that Tyler is sticking with us - once a Tiger, how could you ever be anything else?

It's pretty mature of Tyler is understand that a couple of years with some distance to family might be a good growth experience. Also working under a new coach will have benefits if he plans on coaching in the future.
Wish him the best, we sure loved his father!
