The last few years, we have struggled to have a go-to receiver. It is great to have so many receivers who can respond, and his list does not include the TE's and backs. It is a long season, potentially quite long, and having good back-ups is essential. And we have a great group coming in. I hope we will again become WRU.

Raise your hand if you were calling for Grisham's head on TNet.
My hand is down, btw.

No. Randall didn’t develop and neither did turner….. Williams has developed but think that was inevitable for him due to his skill….. we will see how wesco and Moore look this year and then we will know more. If Tyler brown looks good as well then his job is safe

All the guys that you mentioned as 'not developing' had serious injuries that really set them back. Others had the injuries or left due to lack of playing time. When we won National Championships, we were two deep at the receiver positions (practically across the board). With the new CFP format, we have to be at least 2-deep to make a Championship run. Just look at Georgia and FSU, losing a QB or receiver that killed them in the last couple of years.
My concern is at QB, Cade has to stay healthy for us to make a run (up to 17 games!), and not a second running back! In our championship year's back to 1981 we didn't have some of the devastating injuries we have suffered in other years. Conditioning and depth are keys to success!
Go Tigers, Beat LSU!!

I believe he’s redeemed himself, but some will always be negative. I like him because my son in law’s brother was a walk on at Clemson and was friends with Grisham and says he’s a great guy. He’s recruited well lately and it’s not his fault some have been injured a lot.

developmental Cade Klubnick for another, well, you can’t make the WRs make up that difference. That’s just common sense, and blame was issued (by some) to the wrong place. Typical of some fans tho - always need someone to call out and blame.
Meanwhile, Grisham led the WR corp when we had the most productive passing game in Clemson history. He turned Cornell Powell from and afterthought into an NFL draft. He elevated Amari Rodgers and helped him gain a much better NFL placement. We had a QB.
Then when Cade shows development, WRs jump off the page left and right.
Grisham was blamed for very poor QB play. That’s unfortunate, but now we see his recruiting skills and coaching at the forefront.
Grisham is doing great. Never should have been a target of the whiners.

Nobody wanted to come catch balls that tumbled end over end. Somehow the word was out in the receiver world long before it was apparent to fans and coaches what a certain QB was capable of.

Flying under the Radar - The Young Guns
Burroughs , Salmin and Sellars
No mention of these guys.
They won't redshirt . You can't keep their kind of speed off the field
We are gonna overwhelm the fake death valley boys who just claimed they have the fastest WR corp in the nation. We will see about that

Let me tell you a story about Grish. He will be embarrassed if he knew I shared this but it speaks directly to the guy he is outside of football. About a decade ago my wife passed away after a couple year battle with lung cancer - leaving me as a single dad to raise two young teenagers who had lost their mother at a very early age. Sometime not long after her passing, Grish and his family moved a couple doors down. As we got to know them as neighbors, my son really admired Tyler and his accomplishments at Clemson and his time in the NFL. Grish is a super busy guy between his football job and his own family, but somehow found every opportunity to invest in my son as he was processing his loss. He would call or text him to check in on him, invite him to do things, come to my son's high school basketball games, etc. - and even to this day still keeps up with him now that he is a full grown young adult. All of this took place without any fanfare, notoriety, or cameras around - just a guy that knew he had a chance to love on a kid facing a difficult time and make a difference in his life. It is easy to see why he is recruiting at a high level. Tyler is authentic, real and just as good a guy as you could ever want to meet and I'm glad to see him starting to really prosper in his WR Coach role. Also, I'm tremendously blessed to call him a dear friend and grateful to him for his role in my son's development. It really is a testament to what Dabo has built at Clemson. He is winning at a high level, but he has built this program with guys like TG that are A+ people first and football coaches second. I get it.... These guys get paid a bunch of money and have to be accountable to what product gets put on the field, but we should all be proud as Clemson folks HOW the program is built. Tyler is a perfect example. Go Tigers!

Clemson has 3 outstanding WRS -- Williams, Wesco & Moore

And two WR's with outstanding potential -- Brown and Smith. The rest are unproven and barring injuries should not receive much playing time.
Clemson can name the WR sets any color that Grisham and Swinney wish, but it's time to arm Klubnik with his top weapons on the field and solid OL blocking to allow this 2025 team to meet its high level performance potential. There are no prizes for playing the entire depth chart. If there are injuries, next man up.
