But that isn’t going to happen with your ###### playcalling and a QB that can’t throw a pass on target or with any touch to save his life. Not to mention he’s slowwwwwwwwww.

He needs to get in the weight room!!! He is slow, overweight and can’t shake a tackle. A 240lb QB should not be taken down by a one handed shoulder pad grab. AAAGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

DJ also has no ability to hide his handoffs to the running back and looks at one receiver only. He’s very slow!

DJU should only be runniung the ball our of necessity. Our offense isn't designed for DJU's game. It isn't one size fits all. Elliot hasn't adapted imo.

Other than not calling out players names for bad plays, what did Elliot say that wasn't true? If he was an a _ _ and chose to call out the various players for whiffing on plays that they could make, then his interview would be more clearly understood by everyone.
Fortunately, T.Elliott isn't an a _ _.

football. There were so many missed blocks and sloppy execution. The playbook doesn't matter when defenders get to the QB a half second after snap. With being made on the OL, you could tell they're trying to find a way to make holes and protect the QB and it's not working well.

It helps if the QB will throw leading the receivers instead of behind them, over their heads or in the ground. He holds the ball to long. The punter threw a better ball on the fourth down. With this QB we'll be lucky to beat Pitt or WF.

Wrong. We had drives longer than 20 yards. But we only had one play go for more than 20 yards. Facts matter.

Sure they did, everybody does, but that's why a good OC has to make solid in game adjustments, and our OC can't even make solid half time adjustments, so in game adjustments is totally impossible for TE, he can't do it. He has a set base plan that he calls the entire game, and he never allows for needed adjustments!!!

How could he say that the game plan was good, it wasn't, we can count the good plays on one hand, and penalties wasn't the reason for 5 of 15 on 3d down, how about the game plan for 1st and 2nd down, it was terrible bc, most 3d downs was 3 and 10, 3d and 8, and 3 and less than 5 we couldn't make, and it's bc, they knew what play we would come at them with, and they would stop it. 1st and 2nd down play calling is what made it so hard to convert on 3d down!!!

He has always done that, but this year, he don't have an NFL ready QB to bail him out!!! It is sad that Dabo can't recognize that bc of their friendship!!!

His comments were and always are “enlightening”. They should install mirrors in the Offensive coaches offices, then look at them when trying to sort out our problems. Unfortunately due to our offensive woes, his stock has dropped so far, no other team will want him. It will be more of the same until we rid ourselves of him and our other offensive assistants in their OJT coaching efforts.

Why are we "back to the drawing board?" Shouldn't we be progressing each week? We should not have to be starting over after 6 games - 5 poor offensive performances.
Blame it on a few penalties, which are not outrageous for most games. Blame it on a few missed passes and missed assignments. Which most teams have every game.
How about figure out why every play is a struggle to run for 4 yards and a struggle to find open receivers. Maybe, just maybe, the play calling is not right, or is being poorly communicated or poorly executed. We should have more "layup" opportunities with a team of 4 and 5 star players.
That said: kudos to Davis Allen and Potter and Phil Maffah and Pace.

Elliot stated that he thought the offensive game plan was good. I respectfully disagree with that assessment. I know Cuse thought it was good. They were all over everything.

Did you see something everyone else missed? I read it and it sounded like a canned interview from any of the 6 games we've played. I never read where he said that his game plan was really bad. He said DJ hit his spots and the receivers dropped the ball. And they had some really long, long drives.

Spoken like an engineering genius. Thanks, Toné!
Yall, I'm sure you didn't know, but he was an engineer at Michelin (which means he is smarter than you). Even though tire engineering and design have not fundamentally changed in 60+ years, he was probably cooking up some big stuff over there. We cannot afford to lose a mind with such strategery!

You'd have a a better chance of scoring, and less struggling if you used a more wide open offense. of course to make that work, you need a quarterback that can get the ball to the receivers, not 5-10 yards over, behind, and in front of the receivers. What is wrong with Ross dropping so many balls? Has any body talked to him about it? YOU MUST USE MORE DIVERSITY IN PLAY CALLING.AND YOU NEED THE O LINE TO BLOCK RATHER THAN JUST STAND UP AND LET D PLAYER RUN RIGHT BY THEM.OPEN IT UP.GIVE IT A SHOT.I watch many games on the week-end and I see dozens of receivers running open in the middle of the field. Why don't we? Let me tell you a secret. If you run a play with success, you can run it again sometime. It is not limited to one time use

Tony needs to go to the Opthamologist...he can't see the overthrown passes, passes skipped to wide recievers, great catches that make his bad throws look better...he throws the ball on the wrong side of the WR's...has no touch and needs work on running...looks like he has no real understanding of RPO! Tony and Dabo should have seen this by now! DJ's statistics are lowest in the ACC and there is no way to get around that...can't sugar coat it! Ironic on the board that many think our best QB is our punter! Best touch on a pass by a QB this season! Venables would eat DJ alive! We have one of the best defenses in football but we'll never be considered for the 'dance' with a bottom 10% offense...nobody is going to vote for us...Dabo is the CEO, Tony is a VP, Venables is a VP...our company is in trouble!
