Me too; our Defense looks to be solid, again!!!

But before you talk championship, the Offense and Special Teams will have to show up BIG.
Our punting looked weak Saturday, Potter is back for Kickoffs, Field Goals, and XP's.
Kickoff team and return team, should be good......

Offense has to improve, or we will see a repeat of 2021 where the D keeps us in the game and the Offense barely scores enough to win.
Not like our blowout wins when the Offense is clicking!
Our RB's and TE's look good, and wide receivers will come around. Boils down to O-Line and QB's for a championship season in 2022!
The talent is on the field!

Go Tigers, Wreck Tech!

I think for us to win a NC 2022, Dabo or Streeter can't hesitate to switch QBs if DJ comes out the start of the season with any problems at all facing GT. If they wait until we're at Wake and pull DJ bc he is looking bad, I think that it'll cause problems for Cade by not getting all the snaps against Furman and Louisiana Tech to help get him use to defenders that will really try to put some hits on him at actual game speed.

Honestly, I think that by the end of fall camp, Streeter and Dabo should have the most serious conversation they've had since Streeter became OC, and listen to what each other has to say about what QB will give this 2022 Clemson FB their best chance to go all the way if they believe that could be possible. If it's DJ, stay with him as starter without the switching them back and forth as in splitting the time with snaps. If they believe that it will end up being Cade, then start cade as the starter playing GT, and stick with him bc he will need all the snaps in the first 3 games to get him up to the speed of the game before @ Wake and through the season, and the only reason to pull Cade should bc of to many INTs or taking sacks bc he didn't get rid of the ball.

DJ and his families feeling would take a hit, but this Clemson FB era is about winning championships, and playing the best players is the only way to win championships. That would also send a message to anybody they recruit, if they are better and can Beat out the starter regardless of the position, they will play. And I believe that most of us will agree that is the message that needs to be known throughout recruiting bc of the NIL, great players will GO to where they believe they will play if they show they are the better player bc, NFL money is better than NIL money in most cases, plus NIL money only last for 2 or 3 years at the college level. As a recruit, I would rather be where I'm going to get the best/most playing experience to go after the long term NFL money, even if that meant I didn't get a dime of the NIL money bc, NIL money is short term, and the NFL money is long term with big bonuses!!!

So is RB. WR's can step up. 2022 success is really dependent on the QB and OL. Can they step up?
