Well they are practicing against a playoff caliber defense every day and the past few years all we ever heard out of camp was that the defense had their way. Correct though in that we’ll see come actual game time.

Agree!
If we really have the O-Line, we have a deep group of Backs (including QB) to be successful on offense!
We will find the receivers and Tight Ends to do the job. The key to 2022 is the O-Line……
The front 7 will be there for the Defense, so I hope the secondary can step up too!

Blake Miller must be a Nasty Good OL

Parks and Dabo said Miller has a real shot at starting as a Fr. Some fo the DL said, "he don't look like or play like or carry himself like a Fr."!
I can't wait to see if he wins the RT job. Sounds like we may have a 3 or 4 year starter on our hands.
The rest of the OL as Parks said, "we have pride too"! Nobody wants to hear they are the weakest link. Thomas Austin as a new coach has heard all the noise and likely has an extra layer of motivation driving the performance of his unit. Plus, we recruited better than we had been doing in previous years. LY that young talent was forced into action "way before they were ready" something that should pay dividends this season.
Can't wait to see our OL group against GT.

have the same haircut as Walter Parks. Football helmets are hot enough without a huge bunch of hair being stuffed inside of them as an insulator, holding in even more heat.
Now, fast skill players are probably running around long enough to create a breeze and cool it all down, but O-Linemen are mostly shuffling in place. Any little thing to gain an edge could turn out to be impotent.

I'm sure Blake Miller's been good, but I think the deeper conversation is how Bad we've been at Guard the last few years. Paul Tchio likely would've started this year had he stayed...but behind him no one seems to stand out at the position. It'd a reason why Marcus Tate started at guard as a freshman. We saw him play. He looked like a freshman. Everyone behind him was just worse. Our Tackles have been honestly GREAT the last decade. We've gotta get better inside.

Still, I would expect the starting Defense with Bresee, Murphy, XT, Murphy, Bentley and others could put a terrible hurt on Clemson's O if they were allowed to go wide open and unload on QB's and RB's every play. This is not the case, or all our players would be injured.

Man when was the last time on 3rd and 2 you were supremely confident in getting >3 yds and you knew we were going off tackle against a legit D line?
I hope we get that this year. Being dominant on both lines of scrimmage is a big deal.

camp was how awesome our D-Line was going to be - but it turned out the O-Line was bad (making the DL look good).
It's hard to get a good read when you're playing against your own team...

It would be pretty hard to argue that our D-line this year is just bad...if the O line is doing anything but getting manhandled by our current D-linemen, then that's a huge improvement
