Dayton and Oral Roberts being involved shows this is a guy with underrated talents. Think He will be a good player for us in a couple of seasons.
TCI said we might be getting a couple of big transfers this week too..

Hard to trust TCI but I really hope they are right. Personally i think we only really need 1. I really hope we get the guy from A&M. He would be an instant starter at SF

I Think we need an athletic wing guard too after losing Newman and Trapp who can defend. Don't see Chase Hunter making that big of a leap scoring wise. Morsell at Maryland would be a big boost.

Yeah we could certainly use that. But we have 1 coming in as a Freshman. I’m honestly hoping that Dawes, honor, and hemenway get most of the minutes at the 2 guard spots.
It’s going to be hard to please both honor and Dawes with them both playing the same position. They are both starter worthy PG’s. They need to be on the floor together sometimes
If we get a SF slasher/wing player then I would be ok with a PF that is a grad transfer. We don’t really need somebody that will be here for multiple years IMO. Especially with the signing of middlebrooks.

TCI is certainly not perfect but their track record is decent. I like that they don't wait until after something happens officially to report it. The downside is that sometimes things change so it looks like they missed something when the reality is the situation simply changed which is not unusual dealing with teenagers. Regardless I too hope they are correct as a couple more seasoned players could lead to a very solid 2021-22 basketball team.

surprisingly one of the targets might be a JC Player...

Since opening his recruitment after decommiting from Alabama, Langston Wilson a top 5 Junior College Player was offered by and considering Clemson. I know that Clemson doesn't usually recruit JC players but he must be a really good student:

Sounds like a Super kid. Thanks to his sister, he got to see the campus. Also sounds like he might actually stay. I think Judge and nctigs thought I was cutting on the kid last night but I have zero knowledge of bball recruiting and what a 3, 5, 9 whatever position is. I only follow bball when Clemson plays.
I am curious when I look at the 247 player rank etc, I never see Clemson having offered the big 5* prospects. Judge wanted to argue so I quit, but as stated, why is that? Tia

This young man is exactly what we need. Also, very bright(obviously) and a position that needs filling badly. Welcome to Clemson.

moderately athletic big man. Freshmen coming in do not always appear graceful. I remember Tree Rollins first year, to say he looked like an awkward beanpole would be putting it mildly. But, as the saying goes, height is something you can't coach, you either have it, or you don't. We can certainly use an actual presence inside.

Totally Agree. Then we followed Trees era with Larry Nance, Moose Campbell, and Horace Wyatt (all over 6’-10”). We could play with anyone, but we could not hit free throws. Every game was exciting!
Brownell needs to load-up and figure out how coach each team, based on talent and ability. Go Tigers!

If Brownell will only play 2 big men together. Unlike last year's brilliant coaching strategery

Amen to that. Any strategy that develops an inside game works for me. When recruits see an inside game - more bigs would be likely to see positives in coming.
