Outstanding article. After Monday night, MAYBE the ACC will get some way overdue respect!

Well, a lot of the SEC's conference games have been against Arkansas (2-10, 0-8), Vanderbilt (3-9, 1-7), Missouri (6-6, 3-5), SCAR (4-8, 3-5), Ole Miss (4-8, 2-6), Miss St. (6-7, 3-5).
SEC powerhouses Tennessee lost to Georgia State, Missouri lost to Wyoming, SCAR lost to UNC and App State, Georgia lost to SCAR.
Yes, LSU and Alabama have been good teams this year, as has Georgia except fro the SCAR game, but like most years, it's not as if the bottom half of the league is any good.
SEC fans act like the two teams in last place in the East and West would win the ACC.
We've had Dawgs on here acting like their SEC schedule was crippling...but does anyone think Clemson would not have been undefeated facing Georgia's schedule, at least up until the LSU game?
Vanderbilt Murray State Arkansas State Notre Dame Tennessee SCAR Kentucky Florida Missouri Auburn Texas A&M Georgia Tech (SEC Championsip) LSU
I figure there's no real question that Clemson would have beaten Vanderbilt, Murray State, Arkansas State, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Missouri.
Clemson beat the common opponents, too (SCAR, Texas A&M, Ga Tech). Where UGA dropped one of those common-opponent games.
Sure, Notre Dame, Florida, and Auburn would probably have been better games than FSU, UNC, and Louisville. But Clemson has beaten Notre Dame twice in a row and Auburn twice in a row, and Virginia gave Florida all they could handle.
I figure if Clemson had played in the SEC with UGA's schedule, they'd most likely have gone into the SEC championship undefeated. The LSU vs Clemson result will be told soon enough.

And why do people think Virginia was such a challenging game for Florida? Game was never in doubt and Florida dispatched them in a workmanlike manner.
Granted, Virginia wasn't blown off the field...so I guess that is what folks hang their hat on.

Once again, what does the SEC have to do with MY statement?

The ACC as a conference has sucked this year, outside of us...I don't know what the SEC has to do with THAT.

While true I'd prefer they don't give them bulletin board material. You gotta back it up now.

As evidence that the sec is propped up, eSECpn2 is airing a half hour show

About LSU's 2019 season and "road to the playoff". Seems to me that if they're not propping them up they would do the same for Clemson, and air it in the same hour as the LSU show, to cater to cfb fans, but the show aired at 6pm between 4 hours of college basketball before AND after this specific show... Trevor is dead on it, and truth is never bulletin board material; just a way for bullies to prop up their emotions in anger because you told them the truth....

Clemson MUST score early to put pressure on LSU and to quiet their fans (somewhat). Make no mistake though, the game will be the hardest game of the year to win. No turnovers, dropped passes or red zone offensive or defensive failures. I give the edge to our Tigers based on playoff experience (especially natty experience), Dabo and Venables. GO TIGERS!!!
