This next game will be a good measure of many of these questions. ND wants to run up the gut and has big OL. It will be strength on strength, but I think we will stop their run. I think our LB's will snuff anything wide, which means ND will need to focus on the pass, and we will see if our CB's have really turned around.

Can we run on ND? It will be a big test for the OL, but I think we will do well. How about the pass. If DJ finds his footing again, I think we can move against them with a balanced attack. 'Cuse was about to make its move when a tipped pass turned things around. Likewise, Wake was done in by TO's. If we can attack without turning the ball over, I think we will handle ND.

But many of us don’t spend time studying PFF numbers. So, how do our unit numbers compare with same for other top 10 teams? In other words, what constitutes high achievement in a particular area?

That's a good idea for a future article. My wife suggested it as well. I may do that before the postseason.

It's odd to see our WRs' grades so low. That's something we've got to get figured out. As much as I like Collins and Ngata, they haven't produced anywhere near the level of Higgins and Ross. Also, I'm hoping Williams fills in the slot vacated by Amari Rodgers and Hunter Renfrow. There will never be another Renfrow, but a consistent slot is huge to our offense. I'm thankful our TEs have gotten more action this year. I always loved when DW4 connected with Legget.

Here's looking towards improvement in all areas going forward! Now, we need to beat the Catholics in South Bend.

You obviously didn't watch the Cuse game or not closely plus add in FSU but A. Williams has been a stud. He catches everything on his reach, unfortunately our QB doesn't put the ball in play everytime. AW is definitely a possession player but he has talent for YAC. I have been seriously impressed by him as a true freshman. I think out slot position is not a problem but more a problem of QB getting it to him. That said, Spector is a possession player but he doesn't have the YAC skills that AW does.
