I love it. I can’t wait to be confident in our QB again. We were pretty spoiled for most of the past 10 plus years with that. These last 2 seasons were tough to watch.
September can’t get here fast enough!

But show me! I’m so hyped to see this offense while we still have some dudes on the offensive side of the ball.

Clemson is definitely respected in Texas.
Part of the reason is the fact that no matter how much they spend, you can't just buy a winning football team. The results of Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor, Texas Tech, SMU, and other programs has been in turmoil after moving on from high profile coaches Mac Brown, R.C. Slocum, Mike Leach, etc...
A stable winning program, along with victories against Texas A&M, and beating Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl have all helped. Winning consistently (like Clemson) is what they all want to do.
We will continue to find opportunities to get quality talent from Texas high schools.
The CFP championship game next year is in Houston, winning that game would really raise the Clemson profile in Texas for recruiting!
Go Tigers, Beat Dook!

You are somewhat correct except that Slocum was a about as high profile as the Greenville High Coach.
Wearing Clemson gear is cool here and acceptable, but not for the reasons you say. Of course, you Gump family members would miss it. Now, run along, Forrest.

Wow, just wow. I'm a Texas fan that also loves Clemson and Michigan and I wear Clemson and Michigan gear all the #### time and not one single person has ever threatened me, not even a hint of it. That's just the type of stupid that's on my very last nerve and I don't mind expressing that. Sorry to use big words such as 'single' and 'person' or even 'hint'. I know that is beyond your pay grade, forrest

state, and I promise they know and have a ton of respect for Clemson.
One cousin, a former high school coach with connections across the state, has consistently raved about our success, not only on the gridiron, but particularly in recruiting. He sent repeated messages about Cade, then Riley, with one of the best being, "Now, both the Aggies and Horns will be watching every move by Dabo and his people!"
I'll be there two weeks this summer, and rest assured those Paws will be on my car (yes, I'm driving at age 75+ my SS convertible...lol), and on my shirts and caps. And you can believe that when the crowd of us gather, most of the football talk will be about our Tigers. Fine with me!

Forrest, I can totally guarantee you that I am the only Longhorn in the hundreds that I know and the coaches now and former that I know that even cares one iota about Clemson. I love y'all because of Dabo and my own family in proximity to your campus. I even have my own place there on the lake.
Aggy or Longhorn have Bama and Georgia recruiting to worry with. Texas and Aggy both didn't really care about Cade for some reason which I don't understand fully, but that's what I was told. Aggy had their guy and Texas had Ewers and then Arch. I love Cade, personally,
But, I hate stupid and I am seeing so much stupid here now. I did respect the Clemson fan base until recently and now all of you stupids doubt everything that Dabo does which is total stupid, Jenny.

I guarantee you that there's far more South Carolina gear here than Clemson, you people are gullible as your twin mental giant, Forrest.
Kids love to be cool and cool is wearing Gamecock with the Game removed in their views. I know y'all can't grasp that fully because of the not being a smart man thing. But, you should know what love is, Jenny.

Ohhh the memories of west Texas! I was stationed at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM so the landscape was similarly spectacular...

Our brand is gaining in popularity in Texas and we've began to cash in on that with some recent recruits.
We need to build on that momentum.
Per 247 9 of the top 50 RB's are in Texas and 8 of the nations top 50 WR's.
Riley can use the wind at his back to bring some of these guys to the foothills of SC.
