But only if Cade can get his head on straight. He’s capable, but just not doing at a P4 level this season. He’s literally getting outperformed by 92 other QBs in the country.

......and create about 50 plus plays from what is there. That so-called Clemson Playbook is flirting with the characteristic of being generic ....where any elite players can run it and it is supposed to be productive. That may be true to a certain degree.....but when you don't have all elite athletes across the board....you have to create something else when those same plays aren't working with what you have.

Not a darn thing wrong with the playbook.

The plays are working as designed, except for the most important part. Execution from the QB.
Why add 50 plays when the QB isn’t managing the plays he already has in front of him?
The playbook is fine. We were 11th in offense last year - when Cade was actually playing worth a flip.

The offense is in a difficult position

If there was something specific or a position that was underperforming, I would have more confidence in the bye week improvement theory. However, outside Randall and possibly TE, the entire offensive unit has significant and consistent problems to solve. Cade has been truly bad (not awful but not anywhere close to what any Clemson QB should be), OL has failures across the board (is Matt’s scheme to confusing), WR have been up and down but with four games I haven’t seen anyone who I would put in All ACC contention. Play calling is marginal although there have been a lot of plays that should have been very successful but we fail to execute properly. The lack of tempo is troubling as it is easy to do and doesn’t require any special factors.
What about the lack of new players not getting any real snaps to showcase what they can do? Maybe there’s a reason but are we willing to see if we can find a playmaker out there?
Defense has been underwhelming and think there should be some consideration of getting some new guys more plays.
This team is an enigma on steroids. Perhaps they can “clean up” some things and play better. I just want to make sure we save our best game for our trip to Columbia. At least it will bring some needed joy to this program and fan base. Or at least me!

And Since U R Not Gonna Try Personnel Changes (Justly Deserved)...What Next After Another Loss THIS Season🤔 U Have NO RUNNING Game🤔🤔🤔 Please Somebody Call Coach Ford🙏 His Players Were Mean & Nasty...These Cupcake Kittens R Gonna Get Bullied Every Remaining Game...And The Defense.... Can't Tackle "STILL" I've Never Seen A Group Of Players (Football Athletes/NO Players) That Had High Expectations And Regressed... And Coach Swinney...NO We R Not Tired Of Winning🌞 We R Angry With LOSING LAST 5 OF 7 Games... If It Were Me I'd Tell All 2nd/3rd Strings To Prepare Hard Cuz Your It For Remainder of This Season And IF...By Chance The Back Ups R The Future...U Get A Head Start🎯 Meanwhile IF The Former Starters Wake Up They Too Can Get Game Experience. U Bet IF They (Dabo) Does Not....FlaSt 2.0

QB. If Cade comes out and looks like he has for 4 games, then there will be a position change at QB.
I can’t imagine CV is as incapable of running this offense as Cade has shown this season. I am sure CV can at least hit the pedestrian QB plays that Cade is consistently not seeing. First downs and a couple of those game changers that Cade is missing every week. Move the ball and use clock. Hit the open guys that are running free in this offense every game. Surely CV can do that?

What does reset mode mean?
Start over with new players? New plays? New coaches?
Anything else is the same bullcrap they've been feeding everyone.

Put the second or third string or fourth string QB, we are bound to find the guy that wants to play and listen to the coaching.
Pressure can be a gift if you get the ball to where the pressure came from no matter which WR or RB is there.
Vizzy might help Cade remember how to play, it’s the 5th game and once they play you don’t have to worry about them transferring and playing elsewhere next season.
Play the best player DT Ware might be our best on defense too.

The OL is getting pushed into the backfield, they cant match the current talent level that has come to the ACC. Cade is constantly running for his life!! Its hard to make accurate passes when you're trying to save your a$$. He has missed some layups, I think those were because he was so out of breath from running his A$$ off the previous 2 plays, lol

The more film you watch the more you see the issue. Receivers are open all over the field but the QB is locking onto a receiver and throwing that way no matter what. That's the problem we can all see it but we keep trotting out the same guy to do the same things and we get the same results.

The language in his address to the media is so pleasant and melodic. "We'll be in a better spot" etc. These is no hard examination of play, faults and failures. There is no ownership ANYWHERE. This hand holding crap is intolerable, especially this far in. Did anyone hear Saban last Saturday on Gameday? He was recounting a similar situation and said "if this happened, there would be a meeting in my office on Monday and I would be up their a$$$$$$$!!!" Does that sound pleasant and sugar coated and melodic or does it sound like a COACH coaching to win and holding players and coaches accountable?

The blocking on the left side is terrible. Add another lineman as a tight end eligible to assist.

Let's hope they drank some of whatever Notre Dame drank during their bye week as they came back smokein.... And maybe watched a little of AL, UGA, PSU and Oregon...that is 4 teams that we share nothing in common with right now.

Third year starting QB with the same OC and 80% of the same OL should not need a bye week to "reset".... this offense should be clicking on all cylinders. The only new part to this offense from last year is at RB, and he has been the only highlight of this season. Exact same WR as last year too.
Zero excuse for our offense under any circumstance.
