Good solid win guys. Upstate pitching not as strong as last year (yet) but they're an excellent hitting team. We got a good team this year. Excellent mix of pitching and hitting. Opponents pitching have to face Grice, Ingle, Hawkins, and then either Wagner or DH. Looks like we have power but also had quite a few hits beat the shift and go opposite field hits.

Barlow (wish Monte had left him in) and Dill may end up in the weekend rotation before the season's over. Tons of choices for relief.

I'd be dissapointed and shocked if the team is not at least 38-18 and top 3 ACC. That said, it's early and we don't get tested until late this month... Not surprised at all if we sweep SCar. Their pitching and relief has been suspect at best.

USCU had a few I would like to have. They hit the ball well and showed a lot of fight. They will be a good team this year if they stay healthy. Good to see Brewer and French get those HR’s. I know Brewer is probably not where he wants to be as far as batting average but believe he will be solid when he gets it all together. The 6’9” 280 lb pitcher was fun to watch as well. Never seen a pitcher that big.

Was thinking the same thing. Big ole boy there. Must not be that good at basketball or he could dominate the paint. Who'd want to get knocked by him... Lol

Bout comes off the mound with those long strides. Fun stuff. Excited to see the rematch in Greenville.
