It is no way a good call by the trash ACC official! It was either a no call or a call against both Duke and Clemson with off-setting penalties and in that case either way we would have won the game.

It's not quite Jesus meeting post-crucifixion with the apostles, but it was presented by Coach Swinney with similar thematic overtones.

I’ve been one to say you can’t fire him , but if ‘26 turns out the same way, he should be Strongly ENCOURAGED to walk away. Hopefully the DABO that was enraged right before halftime, will face this offseason with that kind of anger & determination.

Sometimes it takes an Old dog a while to find the bone, I think Dabo found the bone and now sees what he needs to do with it!! (I think Tony must have made a phone call and talked talked to him) Look at UVA... Tony imported quite a few boys in from that magic hole in the wall!! So, Dabo better be searching the portal hard for some ballers and get some pink slips ready.

I think you're spot on in that analysis. I'm sure you know he had a good conversation with Saban as well. He's also talked to Shane Beamer. I know plenty will dispute that. Saban acknowledged it publicly. A big carolina donor told me the other part. Listen, these coaches are a fraternity. They have social media and frequently speak and congratulate each etc. Dabo's no dummy by any stretch. He'll figure it out. But I also think with the comments he made, there's a hint of truth to that other Clemson website. Good day mate. All good!!!

Agree. The history lesson forgotten seems to be between 1989 and 2011. So while Dabo bores the writer, maybe the writer should compare 8 titles in 10 years to zero during that 20+ year period. It wasn’t a gift, it didnt just happen.

The players have all the leverage. They get paid when they're good and when

they suck. No penalty for bad play except for losing play time. No big deal, getting paid either way

The foundation is the University with a commitment to winning and giving our coaches what they need to be successful. Clemson is second to none in that regard. Dabo, or any coach, owes their success to the university administration and the many generous donors. He has recently squandered that support other coaches can only dream of. I haven't heard him give credit where credit is due for his previous success and the reason the foundation he references is solid. That's the history and a fact. It seems to be all about him when he speaks, and that rubs me the wrong way. Love my Alma mater. Go Tigers!

Dabo said today people don't like for him to talk about his past success at Clemson then precedes to do it again. I just have little faith that things are going to change. IMO, The Dabo era is not going to end well whether it's this year or having to suffer through another season of this.

I don't think that I've ever posted here. This year's team stinks. No doubt. But I think our coach deserves the benefit of the doubt. Yea, if next year is the same old crap, let's talk about a replacement, but he has taken us to to four National Championships. That isn't by accident. Hopefully he doesn't got to the Big 12 or Big 10 for replacement coaches, but give him a chance. One more year. Just my opinion.

Dabo mentions how different college football is today. Former Tiger coach Tony Elliott has Virginia 7-1. How has he done that? This is from The Athletic site: “ Virginia was able to sign Chandler Morris, son of former Clemson co-offensive coordinator Chad Morris, in large part, because it became a legitimate player in the NIL space for the first time, with Elliott and athletic director Carla Williams able to convince a historically cautious donor group to take the plunge into this era of the sport. Morris was the Cavs’ most high-profile addition, but they signed 32 transfers overall, including seven on the offensive line.”

and Dabo puffing his chest up and getting his feelings hurt but I really hope he talks it over with Mrs Kath and she talks some sense in to him. He needs to realize that his ways were great 10 yrs ago but they aren't gonna work now. He needs an NFL caliber coaching staff and send his buddies and ex players back to the farm league. Let Allen and Riley (if he decides to keep him) hire their own assistants and Dabo just be the GM and HC like he should be. Let them earn their paychecks and him stop meddling in everything. Let them two go after the players THEY want in the portal. Pull the plug on all the moochers that are taking up roster spots and bring in people that can actually play and help the team. Not all your kids friends and the Daniel High varsity team. A couple of Daniel HS players is one thing, 10+ is another. Here's to Dabo doing the right thing. Go Tigers

Dabo has stated a few different times that "he's not against the portal" and that "he'll use it when he has to." I take him at his word and believe this off-season will look much different than the past.
