I lived in Md for over 70 years. My youngest son and his wife are Clemson grads. One of our friends was a Clemson baseball All-American - and also my son's HS baseball coach. What does this have to do women's lacrosse? Nothing directly, but for years I was a Clemson rep at Carroll County College Nights for Clemson. From ladies, one of the first questions was do they have lacrosse followed by do they have Field hockey. It is good to see that whomever is representing now can at last say yes.

Residents of Carroll County would feel right at home in the Upstate. Same basic people. Carroll is in the foothills of the Catoctin mountains, with plenty of hills, streams and farms. Similar weather, only Md gets more white stuff. Summer temps are similar but SC summer is longer and winter shorter.

My point is this - if you are a coach recruiting in Carroll take the time to point out the similarities because Carroll kids will feel right at home in Clemson.

We've been crushing it in women's lax. The transfers we brought in are top notch. Team 2 should make history this season. I hope the students embrace the opportunity to fill up the stadium for every home game. Won't surprise me if we're not in the final 4 this season.

Going to be a massive weekend.

There's no doubt that Clemson is quickly changing the sport forever. We're about to see that other top programs are simply not competing with Clemson in investment and commitment.

Clemson is quickly becoming *the* women's lacrosse place to be for recruits.
