This is what will allow our offense to ball out by keeping the quality of play at the offensive line equally throughout the entire game, play after play! ! ! !

I hope so but I’ll believe it when I see it. Hate to sound so negative but this has been a weak spot for us year after year. Hope we have a line that can keep Cade upright and time to spin some beautiful passes. Go tigers and let’s remind the playoffs we’re still here !

Seems like a reprint from years past and they just changed the names. We will see.

Unfortunately, most of the names are the same. I have seen them all take many, many snaps. Except we lost our best OL to the NFL in a mid round - may or may not stick. I watched this "depth" in action at the spring game. In general (always some exceptions), they were unable to block 2nd or 3rd team D Lineman. That's basically all I watch every spring game and you can see the problems coming. LT is far from ready. Among the starters, the PFF grades were horrific anytime we played out of conference last year. No clue what the problem might be - we recruit solid players, been through 2 coaches, and not a whole lot of change. Strength and Conditioning is the one spot that has remained and we can certainly say we get manhandled against the top teams. No clue really. Will believe these sunshine pumping articles when I see it.

It was the guy that stands behind the offensive line to receive the snap that was weak.

Agreed. Playcalling and QB play was our weakness. Cannot blame the OL when the defense knew what 3 plays we were going to run.

That is more true than many realize. I was hoping to see more variety in the spring game but didn't see much of anything. But with that said, just consistently getting plays in from the sidelines quickly would be a big improvement.

The OL is the reason we won an ACC championship and they weren’t responsible for giving the chicks a gift horse.
Now the Tennessee game wasn’t very good but we should have established the run and stayed with it.

The article does not talk about the offensive line being weak. It talks about the depth. We have not had depth in many a year.

The OL has been a weak link, for sure. Of course a QB who can consistently put the ball in the right zip code will open lots of doors for us, as well. It’s going to be interesting to watch, and fun, too, if all this comes together like I think it will. Until Sepy, we anxiously wait.

This is really the only story you need to read about our team. Without a line to pass block and open holes for running backs, offenses will be struggling and QBs will be running for their lives. Football starts on the line of scrimmage.

The last two years we brought in some dudes that play with their hair/helmet on 🔥 fire! Our recruiting the last 3-4 years on the offense line have been the best we have ever had. Austin has stepped up into a very good recruiter and coach.
Our offensive line will get better every year over the next 3-4 years. That’s why we are going to be competing with the best of the best.
We’ll be the first team to win the SEC their first year in the conference. The coots will be hating on us but all those SEC homers will be hiding and saying Clemson was always a SEC team.
Let’s go Tigers!

It would be great to have the depth we did in 2019. On paper it is a good looking group, fingers crossed we stay healthy.

Any word on John Williams? I never see his name mentioned and he was quite good in high school on an excellent Creekview team
