You'll only be able to compete if you and the other backs can turn up your speed 2-3 clicks. The entire team is a speed demon. I'd like to ask Goodwin, but you can, what steps is he taking to combat their speed.

I think Mick and Wes are going to take the team in the alleyway and have them chase some chickens for a while.

Enjoyed the coot collapse. Brilliant defensive play in that backfield.

Miami’s O-Line looked poor against both UNC & GA Tech.

I’m guessing that Goodwin will call a lot of 3 - 2 - 6 type defense alignments, with regular blitzes coming from different parts of the secondary.

Van Dyke, if he plays a lot, will be very limited in his ability to escape the pocket to extend plays. Miami O-Line will need to keep a RB &/it TE in to block. That equals to seven players not running pass patterns. We will be rushing 3 DL and blitzing one DB or LB on most plays. We will get pressure on Van Dyke with this, because our DL will destroy their OL.

Their 4 guys running pass routes won’t get open quickly. Miami’s offense will struggle to score any points other than FGs.

As for our offense, that is where we don’t match up well with Miami. Or with any other team left on our schedule … unless the rate of improvement at two critically important skill positions on offense happens much faster than it had during first half of the season.

In other words, I spect another game like the WF game. I think we win in a low scoring game.
