I feel like XT has been targeted by the refs for whatever reason this season. The overruled targeting against GT and then the bogus roughing the passer against BC really ticked me off. I hope the coaches bring this up with the ACC and let them know that bias against one of our players will not be tolerated.
Amidst all of that, really enjoying watching XT get after it this year. This DL is incredible, especially with how strong they are after losing our top two interior linemen.

This is what we have been waiting 4 years to see. He’s had a tough road. So glad he didn’t give up. He and KJ are two of my favorite Tigers.
On the refs, I think what Booth said may help explain this. Sometimes these guys are so fast and so explosive that the refs can’t believe their eyes and think that there is no way he could have done what he did legally so they throw a flag. It stinks, but it happens.

Thankful to have XT3 full steam this year. With all of the injuries this year he has truly been a blessing!

And be blessed with enormous physical abilities.
But at the end of the day white matters is between your ears and beating in your chest! It’s those two things that determine where we end up and especially how we deal with both success and adversity.
I had teammates, like all of us that played sports, that were freakishly good with little to no effort. The type that hates to practice but can show up and do amazing things in a game. Few of those guys ever made it past high school and even fewer made it to the NFL. While at the same time we have all seen guys like Hunter Renfrow overcoming their physical limitations because of intelligence and instincts and most of all that thing that no one can measure, heart!
