Clemson needs a Hype Man on the sidelines

After viewing our sidelines for three home games this year, I come to the conclusion that our energy level on the sidelines is like watching British TV

Games are won in the weight room in the off season.

When they began to play the weight room video in the beginning of the 4th quarter, you know the one in which they say “They don’t put championship rings on smooth hands”. The crowd around became downright pissed off. We pay a lot of money to attend these games. The lack of fire from the players and coaches is disgusting.

There are so many Clemson Staff & Coaches on the sideline, it is like trying to get through Atlanta on Friday afternoon. They have no idea who is doing what to whom!

I agree, have said it for years. Dabo had 9+ a few coaches when he started. Now a staff of 45+: coordinators, assistants to the coordinators, assistants, assistance to the assistance, analyst, assistants to the analysts. Look at pregame warmups and you decide. I see too many voices to the players by position and as individuals rather than a few voices to a team.

A DC on the sidelines rather than in the AC'd box might be a starting place.

We don't anymore? When I was there we did ('88-92). Was there for LSU game and noticed the crowd participation wasn't at all how it used to be.

Seems everyone...coaches, players and fans have become lazy, complacent and entitled...a bad combination and serious flaw, especially in a team sport!
