And he promised to on the first day. So it could have just been a talking point. I hope not. If he doesn't do anything, he's just as guilty as Trump. He at least ended the BS "zero tolerance policy," but he hasn't worked yet to reunite families.
Of course, if you want Biden to do that... it'll take another EO.

If Trump had made a promise to end this on day one and didn't do anything about it for 9 days, you would more than likely be chapping his ### every single hour about it.
It doesn't have to take another EO because his party has the house and the senate. Nobody cares about it on the left because we are too focused on taking up the articles of impeachment. The ginger behind the podium continues to not "circle back" like she says, so that doesn't help.

Biden has ended the policy. That's a good start. I'm waiting to see how he's going to reunite families because I know that's not an overnight solution, and I'd feel the same way if Trump was in that boat. Which he never would be as he's a raging sociopath.
Yeah, while in theory it should be Congress that solves this problem, apparently they're not. An EO put em in the cages. Might have to be one that gets em out.

He'll take the kids out of the little cages (built by the Obama administration) until they figure out who they actually belong to, and put them in larger cages (built by the Obama administration) along with the coyotes/perverts/child sex-traffickers who brought them here, until they figure out who the kids actually belong to!

This is a little excerpt from NPR.
There are hundreds of families that are still caught up in this long, fraught chapter of U.S. immigration policy. The Trump administration separated far more children — the latest total stands at more than 5,500 — starting much earlier than it initially acknowledged.
And more than 1,400 parents were ultimately deported without their children, according to immigrant advocates.
The Justice Department's inspector general, Michael Horowitz, is the latest to detail how the administration's family separation policy was a mess from the beginning. In a report out this month, the inspector general found there was little recordkeeping and no plan for how to reunite these families.
President Biden has promised to appoint a task force to help reunite these separated families, which he's expected to formally announce next week.
It took Trump months to fukk this up. You ought to be willing to give Biden a few weeks to formulate how to clean it up.
