Thoughts on OC

I know everyone has their two cents so I thought I'd throw in mine. Chad Morris is an obvious choice, and he'll be looking for a job next season.
Another good choice would be Joe Brady. He's QB coach at Buffalo now, but he's the reason LSU won the natty. He developed Burrow and transformed that offense. He maximized their talent and I think is more suited to coach at the college level.
The outside the box hire would be Trent Dilfer. He played in the League, won a SB (yes with an amazing defense), but he was a guy who maximized his talent. He's also worked with QB at camps and been a trainer for most of the top guys going into the NFL for years. Right now, he's coached a HS team in TN that is nationally ranked and he built that program up.
Bottom line is I think it's great to promote from within, but as most have said on this board if we want to stay at the top we need proven hires at the coordinator level.

It would be hard to argue with Brady if we could get him.

We still need Jeff Scott as recruiting coordinator. Obviously our recruiting has slipped in some areas since he left. Saturday's game will tell us a lot about this team. If we come out and play the same 'ol S..., we are doomed and this Clemson team will be unlike any we have seen in 10 years or so.

Brady is a wet dream. But Dabo ain’t firing his boy Street. It really feels like Dabo had self sabotaged himself when he made the stubborn decisions he made last December. It’s all self implicated.

From what I understand Morris will never be back. Rumor is there was some animosity there for whatever reason.
Dabo would never hire Joe Brady. Nor do I see Dabo firing or demoting Streeter. He seems to be in an alternate reality with the program right now.

Why do you say that about Brady?
Do you just think he won't fire Streeter or is there something with Brady in particular you're thinking about?

Joe Brady just doesn't seem to be the type of personality Dabo would hire. Brady is an NFL guy at heart with big aspirations to use the next job as a quick stepping stone. Just don't see that working.

Dilfer has been very critical of CU
Don’t think he’s on Dabos guest list

Definitely bring the two Scott’s back. I’d look at W Korn too. He called a great game at coastal against ap State The had some umph in their offense too.

Sorry but just don’t see any changes with either OC/DC. Both are 1st year OC/DC with some new analysts, so we are still going through some growing changes. CDS is a long term man.

Dabo should go get someone outside of the program, not just former players with playing experience and zero coaching experience.

wait for the season to play out and then consider the totality of the season before making any changes.
Lets also not forget that despite what he is saying in public, the coaches may have strong doubts about DJ's ability to run the plays that we need him to run. I think the evidence of this is him being benched twice now. Dabo did say that DJ was holding the ball too long (which we all saw).

If Dabo makes a move, these are the names to watch out for: Garrett Riley, Phil Longo, Jeff Scott, Will Healy, Willy Korn and Dan Mullen. Some moves would allow certain staff members to stay on board, others would definitely not.
