Tech is more of a problem than a solution. Abraham Lincoln received a better education in a log cabin with a dirt floor.
The problem with education isn't a tech problem or a money problem. Again look at problems that are never solved and you see the real problem is much less appealing. So it's ignored.

Despite him spending most of his campaign in his basement and having virtually nobody show up for any of the few events he dared to attend in public this master politician managed to get millions more votes than any Democrat in history. You see, Democrat voters love incoherent lying morons who will have no grasp of reality whatsoever. Just wait til 2024 when he gets 150 million votes and not one Democrat anywhere even bats an eye.

I guess this warrants saying one more time…a lot of people did vote for him, yes…but a ton (myself included) were just voting against Trump. I don’t regret it and will do it again in 2024 if the choices are the same. Would rather have better choices.

Rick Scott is actually leading a charge that puts Medicare on the chopping block, which is rich because he made his fortune defrauding medicare through his hospital network.
Anyway, Obama "reformed medicare", and moved that money into the ACA. I would like to hear what the republicans like Scott mean when they say they want to "reform medicare", and the budget to be re-authorized by congress every 5 years. That should scare those of you that have another 20 years left in the labor force, it could potentially mean 4 rounds of cuts before you get to put down the shovel and retire. And there is some merit to that debate, but we sling poo instead.

The SOTU has been a farce for a while. For someone like me, whose least favorite part of the government is the partisan bickering, the SOTU has become the Super Bowl of it. So it's one of those things I intentionally avoid watching for my emotional well-being. Reading about it after the fact...it's just sad. Adults acting like children.
