Kansas U and other Universities are wasting no time terminating these professors who are calling for violence against conservatives or celebrating it. Clemson is too woke and needs to take immediate action or be defunded by the state. And some state legislators are calling for defunding.

Read S.C. Code 16-17-560

Legislators raising hell at Clemson but they need to fix this statute so trial lawyers don’t have a field day getting big settlements for these professors. These professors have likely already consulted counsel and just hoping to be fired.

Don’t know if Kansas has such a law

That statute does not allow for hate speech or inciting violence which is against the law in SC.

According to current laws in South Carolina, individuals’ freedom of speech and assembly may be limited in certain circumstances. Some specific limitations include:
1. Hate Speech: It is illegal to incite violence or promote hate based on race, religion, or national origin.

Unfortunately. they are being advised by our attorneys to take this approach. Let’s hope the BOT will take care of the matter anyway with pressure from alumni, donors, and legislators.
