Just sharing my thoughts.
I watch these games, and really want to envision this basketball team having a good season.
But it’s really difficult to imagine that.
I’ve watched a lot of SoCon and Big South basketball over the years. And when I see our players…that’s about the same caliber I see.
Maybe they will surprise me as the season goes along.
We’ll see.

It was a warm up game. North Alabama is supposed to ompete for their conference championship.

I mean, don’t get me wrong. We would be favored to win the Big South.
But I’m afraid that won’t cut it in the ACC.

Well, they may have been picked pre-season but so far they're not playing like it. Maybe they'll get better as the season progresses, but I'll be surprised if they compete for the asun based on their first 5 games.

We used to have teams go undefeated until ACC play winning games by 20+
and then get blown out by Duke by 50 and finish at the bottom of the ACC.
A win against a small league team by 20 means nothing.

What would be nice would be for Clemson to win the men's ACC basketball tournament. Not going to happen with Brownell as the head coach. He can't even win two games in it and has had more chances than anyone in Clemson history. The LF does not enjoy Clemson being the only charter member of the ACC not to win the tournament, particularly when expansion teams have won it. Some people apparently don't care if Clemson never wins the ACCT. It is way past time to give someone else a chance.

I have tempered my expectations pretty low with what we had coming back and told Walt as much that we'd be in the bottom half of the ACC. He thought otherwise kinda like him picking us to win a football natty lol. We lost way too much of the core and have too much youth.

No need to argue with morons as we will know for sure in a couple of months. I watched Houston vs Auburn and we look nothing like those teams and also watched lower tier teams and we dont look like them either. Likely the answer is in the middle.
