Brent Venables agrees to four-year extension with Clemson
Head Coach Dabo Swinney announced Friday all members of his full-time coaching staff agreed to contract extensions. That includes dDefensive coordinator Brent Venables, who signed a new four-year contact. His contract now extends through the 2018 season. Venables is worth every cent (and more) that we pay him. With Brandon Streeter
on board, we may have the best coaching staff ever. Fabulous combination. We
had no chance of beating Oklahoma. Yeah, right.

Just looking at priorities. First Oculus starts being built and now Venables gets a raise. Its all coming together. Next will be the purple uniforms.

$875,000 is his salary for last year. No one knows yet what the new salary is. It should be in $1mil plus range. He's demonstrated he's the best in the country.

in the NFL one day. He was able to turn Clemson's D from impotent to the best in the Nation in a couple years, and you would think the NFL would notice that.

I may be wrong, but I think that Venables really likes being at Clemson. I'd be
surprised to see him leave any time soon. We've got some great coaches.

I hope he stays for a very long time .... BUT, then again, maybe the Redskins would come calling ? (just kidding, that is the "kiss of death") I live in Redskin Land, and we are not liking the Redskins either. Trivia: Seems to be more Pittsburgh/Dallas/Ravens and ..... Panther ! fans then Redskins fans here
