And this years football team. Last year’s basketball team had expectations of possibly winning its first ACCT and another deep run in the NCAAT and we all know what happened there.

Seems like we need better pre-season prognosticators because the ones we have now are clearly broken.

Basketball is much different than football….. upsets are much more common. It’s disappointing to lose in the first round but no shame in it. That’s why it’s called march madness.
As far as acc tourney goes do you actually expect us to ever get the officials to give us a fair shake for 3 straight games on a “neutral court” with all the surrounding state of NC teams

Blaming the referees as an excuse for consistent failures in the ACCT is pretty weak and a loser’s mentality. Plenty of schools outside of NC have won the ACC, 8 of the last 14 in fact.

Fact is we hardly ever perform well there and when we do we still get hosed….

Acc tourney is a wash. NCAA is all that matters and we’ve made that last 2 years. If you wanted to make any comparison from last year‘s basketball team to this year‘s football team it would’ve taken basketball to miss the entire ncaa’s instead of 1 and done because last year football made the playoffs and this year they’ll be fighting for a bowl with all this talent back.

At least basketball lost Hall, Girard, Clark, and Godfrey and even with great expectations at least had a tremendous regular season and made the tourney…..

Conclusion. Basketball last year accomplished much more than football will this year. Don’t compare one of our best teams ever and basketball to this bunch of losers

I didn’t say you were a loser, I said that blaming the refs exhibits a losers mentality in this specific instance. There is a difference ;)
