Theoretically speaking

What if venables isn't as great of a coach as we all assume. What if hes still the same guy that Oklahoma fans hated and the only reason he's so great now is bc of great talent on the field. What happens when we don't recruit well defensively or there's an injury bug. Or worse, players start to get kicked off the team for foolishness. Do we really think he's such an elite coach that can take mediocre talent and turn it into the nations best year in and year out.

Coots are " theoretically " human ...but there is little proof in the way of intellectual development to substantiate such a claim .

And what if Cinderella is a man, and what if the sky really is falling, and what if the world really is flat, and what if there is no real end to space? Oh my! I just don't think it's worth living anymore with so many unanswered questions. Go on over to FGF, and ask what might happen when spurlid gets fed up with all the criticism for losing so much lately and what if it lasts, as it probably will, into the next millennia.

You all are truly special. They give you the ranking of guru, junkie, and ring of honor but I don't understand why. You can't even discuss football without referring to one another as coots or idiots. But I guess that's what I get for trying to have a discussion about the team I love with a bunch of ignorant, simple minded people. God bless and Go Tigers

1. Q: What if venables isn't as great of a coach as we all assume. A: Then he will be replaced with someone whom we think is, ref. Jack Leggett, Tommy Bowden, etc. 2. Q: What if hes still the same guy that Oklahoma fans hated and the only reason he's so great now is bc of great talent on the field. A: Great talent on the field alone does not ensure success. Great talent, to be great on the field, requires great coaching. Ergo.... 3. Q: What happens when we don't recruit well defensively or there's an injury bug. A: N/A - Clemson (i.e.: "we") will never NOT recruit well defensively. If there's an injury bug, we'll simply substitute with the second or third string, who are coached as well as the first string. 4. Q: Or worse, players start to get kicked off the team for foolishness. A: Foolishness is not allowed at Clemson; if they ever make it on the team in the first place, they are likely to be cut before it ever becomes an issue. 5. Q: Do we really think he's such an elite coach that can take mediocre talent and turn it into the nations best year in and year out. A: Yes, we really do.
