The way i see the next few years unfolding in FB.

This has nothing to do with conference expansion.
SC: I see SC going 8-4 in this reg. season ans winning the gator bowl to finish 9-4. ranked about 19 or 20.
Clemson: I see us going 10-2 in the reg season and wining a bowl to finish with 11 wins. We will be ranked about 9th.
SC next year: They will lose Lattimore to NFL as well as lose 8 starters from their defense as well as be another year removed from DC Johnsons great defenses. This will cause the chickens to drop to 4th in the sec east as GA, FL, and one of MO or TN finish ahead of them. They will probably finish 8-5 and may or may not finish in the polls.
Clemson next year: Clemson will have their whole line back as well as most of the defense and the youthful talent will begin to show itself. Boyd is a senior, Watkins is a Jr and the only ? will e a RB. I say 11-1 ACC title, Orange bowl win to finish 12-1 and #3 in the county.
Just a thought.

I don't agree with your post but it really goes to show you the huge gap and differences between the two conferences, doesn't it.

see us getting on big time run.
Our WR corps has 4 guys that are likely to play on Sunday, with a good QB and talented backups.
Add some defense,an OL, and 80k+ screaming fans and domination ensues.

Lattimore had a nasty knee injury. I don't see him ready

to go pro after next season.
It will be interesting to see if the loss of Ellis Johnson and all of those great players has any effect on the performance of the defense.

I too, think Lattimore will stay for Sr. year. heard a coot say that he said if they don't win the NC, then he's coming back. Also, heard Demario Jeffrey, LB for coots say Sat. that Ward has a great attitude, but Ellis Johnson was a genuis. He hated to see him go

Stay because he feels like he could help his team out, especially if his year this year isn't great due to a slow start.
OR
Everyone knows he's a first-round pick. Better get to the NFL while you can instead of possibly aggravating an injury or getting another. If your pro-career was almost ended and you were given a second chance to play, would you risk it?

Even though 11 wins isn't our best season ever in history?
