I don't pay for season tickets any longer. They're too expensive. Parking sucks. Dabo puts a poor product on the field and then bullshlits the fan base about the reality of his athletes.
The names below are the top 10 high-school ranked QB's for 2026, and where they're committed. (as 2025 recruits are no longer available)
1. Faizon Brandon. Tennessee commit. No Clemson offer.
2. Ryder Lyons. SoCAL commit. No Clemson offer.
3. Jared Curtis: Georgia. No Clemson offer.
4. Dia Bell: Texas. No Clemson offer.
5. Brady Smigiel: FSU. No Clemson offer.
6. Jadon O'Neal: Oklahoma. No Clemson offer.
7. Landon Duckworth: SCAR. No Clemson offer.
8. Jones Williams: Oregon. No Clemson offer.
9. Brady Hart: Michigan. Actually DID receive a Clemson offer.
10. Will Griffin: Florida. No Clemson offer.
We offered ONE top-10 rated QB....and gained verbals from the #26 and #62 ranked QB's and we SUCK at developing QB's.
We're not ever OFFERING the best possible recruits.
We effectively have 3x QB's committed over the next two years. All 3-stars.
Unless this donor base coughs up the funds for a top-level QB, we're f**ked.

You make a good case for using the portal.
I gave Dabo his due time to prove his "we coach talent" over the "we buy talent" method. It has failed to a degree. It's one thing to swing and miss. It's a whole other thing to completely throw-in-the-towel on even trying to recruit the top QB's.

Stopped donating to IPTAY as money goes to whatever THEY deem is used towards. NIL collectives use money for top-caliber FB players, only.

3 main problems:
- we recruit 5-star busts....OR
- we can't develop QB's.....OR
- Dabo Swinney hired a shlit lot of former players, ALL as OFFENSIVE (key-word, here) positional coaches, and it's blowing up in his face.

Last 2. Although I think DJ was easily destroyed by adversity and has completely fallen off I still have a sliver of hope Cade can turn it around. I really want to see some fiery competitors at QB going forward. Bring in a guy that's got a killer instinct and grind mentality like a Tom Brady. Someone who refuses to let people limit them. #### honestly this team could use a baker mayfield type at this point.

If you think we aren't making any attempt to reach out to top QBS I don't know what to tell you. The reality is that we can't afford what they are commanding. The days of Dabo selling a kid on our program at their kitchen table are gone forever. If you aren't leading with a seven figure offer you aren't even getting a conversation with a top 10 QB.

Virginia Tech, Arkansas and Purdue have higher ranked QB’s. We have nothing really coming in this year’s class either. For the buckets of money, there is zero reason why we wouldn’t get a top 15 QB, unless we didn’t offer them at all.
It’s going to be some lean times unless we can use the portal. I guess Vazzina is a Redshirt Freshman, he has until 2027 here potentially, but there is zero depth or anyone take over. Maybe Dabo has a plan lined up for the portal that will shock everyone.

I’ll take tough questions the Clemson football media should be asking Dabo for $500 Alex. Here’s looking at you David Hood, Scott Keefer, and others.
Our football team success under Dabo has been highly correlated with the level of QB play. With great or really good mobile QB play we’ve had good to great team results. Ex- Boyd, Watson, Lawrence. When our QB talent/play has been average or less our teams have been highly average or even mediocre (ex. DJ, Cade, Parker, Stoudt).

Our fan base has managed to help fund the highest paid coaching staff in college football, the best facilities in college football, and numerous other program upgrades.
We have plenty of wealthy alumni who support Clemson athletics. Moreover, we’ve had football players with numerous NIL deals with large national brands.
We have lots of money to get top players if necessary. Us not getting top QBs lately is not about money, but interest and desire.

Yeah, there’s something really wrong here and for some reason Dabo’s got a lot of people believing Clemson can’t get better than we are getting, which is a complete gaslight.
There is no reason why we can’t land a top 15 QB every year. Looking at recruiting rankings for the next couple years, plus no portal use and we will be lucky to be a top 20 time in a few years. Yet, people think we can’t get anyone better than what we currently have, which is ridiculous.
