Missed blocks/poor blocks seem to be a trademark of Riley's offense so far.....need to see some improvement. Jeff Scott made it clear to the players--if you don't block, you don't play. Need to see more of that.

in terms of management style - wants to be everyones friend and isn't holding accountability
management . not everyone can do it

The small details include coaches having the right RB on the field

Davidson, Eziomume, and for that matter Sammy Brown ran track and played RB, blocked the position, and ran for thousands of yards in high school. Will be interesting to see what happens Saturday. Clemson RB could be the key to the game. Go Clemson Tigers!

From what I've seen, the play calling is still too predictable and conservative. Run play, run play, bubble screen, and punt. That will not win a National Title. Disguise plays, misdirection, and utilizing the talented roster to their strengths will win every game on the schedule. The loss that haunts me the most right now is the loss against UGA last season. I feel like Clemson had the right stuff to beat UGA, but the play calling was ultra conservative, very vanilla, and albeit very predictable. Almost as if Clemson was playing to avoid a loss rather than win the game. Why does this loss haunt me so much? Well, if Clemson would have won that winnable game, then it would have catapulted momentum for the rest of the season.
With the talent that Clemson currently has, there is no excuse for not having a balanced and more importantly, an unpredictable attack. Let's hope that Riley opens the playbook and allows this team to play to its full potential. Do that, and we will witness Dabo Swinney hoist the oculus at the end of the season. Fail to do so, and we will all cry in our Tiger Paw pillows at a 1 O'clock angle.
GO TIGERS!

Riley admirably brought out a lot of Cade Klubnik's skill sets by year end 2024. But I chalk the UGA loss down to losing to better players and more confident coaches on the opposite sideline. Recall Dabo saying that Riley would run the Clemson Offense - not the Riley Offense. Dabo is great, fortunate to have him, but hubris can sometimes blur his vision. Happens to all of us. Even the great ones like Coach Swinney.

yep I sum it up as we stop ourselves with that a lot mote than the D stops us. Predictable, throwing short of the sticks, and a lot of trying to throw through DL's who batt it down

I agree with our offensive liabilities earlier in season. I agree w socman that it was more than just our offense. Also we didn’t play 3 what we now know to be stars in westco/moore and Sammy. So more than just blah offense but I would like to see a more sophisticated O too!!
Go Tigers!!

These comments are ridiculous. We threw downfield more than just about any team last year. As for the UGA game we had a solid gameplan to start. The players didn’t execute. We had 2 penalties and a drop on big play opportunities.
Some of you need to get a clue!
