But looking back at it, they were letting their tackles get a healthy space off of the line and still be "on the line" which was suppose to be a point of emphasis a couple of years ago.

They threw the first one, let the second one go for some reason. Pain shot or not. All you have to do is look down the line and say "aww chit, I'm offsides". Refs didn't call it second time.

They called him the first time and then he lined up offsides on the very next play and they did not call it.

He was pushing off with his right foot instead of left sure it gave him a different perspective of where he was at the line

Point. Yes, Shaq lined up offsides, but if you get paid to be an official looking down the line to see if someone is offsides or not, how do you blow it? Whether it was benificial to the tigers or not, doesn't the line judge have a job to do?
