I would rather have 8 4* TE and Wr's that like us one year and 8 4* OL that like us the next instead. This year we didn't have a bunch of big named OL on the board and did have a bunch of big named WR's. So we either go farther down the OL board to some kids we are not sure of, while at the same time passing on some really talented WR...or we do what we are doing and recruit with some vision. We saw to big OL line up in the 2015 class...so why fill 4* Ol spots with 3* players we aren't sold on?

Some truth to this. This is a highly rated class but the 4* guys include 3 WR's, 2 RB's and a TE (also one LB). That's a lot of firepower but there is only one ball on the field during games.
I heard Luginbill speaking on ESPN's recruiting show last week and he mentioned that Saban focuses on the positions that are hard to fill, primarily: OT, defensive front 7, CB and QB.
Look at the 4* and 5* guys in Bama's currently #1 ranked class and you will see those highly rated guys come overwhelmingly from those positions.
