It’s time for Dabo to man up, admit his old school strategy doesn’t work in today’s college football, then adapt and move forward. If he is to stubborn to do that, he needs to leave before he drags this once elite program down even farther.

If Dabo doesn’t begin to use the portal and NIL recruiting like every other program in the country does our program will wither away into obscurity. It’s not opinion. It’s a an inevitability. So either adapt or make way for someone else to lead the program in modern times like Saban did.

Dampier is money. He played one year at my daughter’s HS (same HS as Rattler). The only thing keeping bigger programs away was height.

Dabo won't change. At the same time, he'll admit to himself the old ways won't allow Clemson to compete for national championships with the new rules.
It's a lot of money to leave on the table, but I believe Dabo will resign within 2 years. His principles are more important to him than money.

Yes you are correct. He has a belief in his system, and it would not surprise me if Clemson was not looking for another head coach after this season.
Clemson, fake USC and Florida will probably have openings at season’s end.
Coach has done a heck of a job. Never thought I would see what I have seen in his time here. Be a sad day in Tigertown when he leaves, but most will understand why when he does.

I agree. The goal for a football team is to win and the goal at Clemson is to win championships. Dabo even said it in 2015, you have to adapt or what you have built will die. He needs to adapt to today’s game or the AD needs to find someone who will. I personally hope Dabo mans up and does what he needs to do and stays here for another 10 seasons.
And for the “who ya gonna get” crowd, that’s not my responsibility. We have an AD who will hire a firm who specializes in coaching searches to do that evaluation. I can guarantee you there is a young coach out there like Dabo was 15 years ago who is hungry to win and would be very successful here.
