The Myth of “It Just Means More”

Maybe Germans, but the myth surrounding the $EC has been busted & needs to die. That conference is Alabama now, UGA occasionally; it was UF when they had Urban Meyer & LSU when they had Les Miles. Auburn & LSU’s lightning in a bottle seasons don’t count, jmo. And when Texas A&M makes the playoff twice, I’ll believe in their progress.

Auburn? Choke artists. Ole Miss? Please. Mississippi St.? Next. Arkansas? Nope. Kentucky? Bigger joke than Joker Phillips. Missouri? Not even in the south. Vanderbilt & USCjr? Can barely handle the Sun Belt.

That narrative needs to be retired, because teams like ours have exposed them in recent years!

It’s all about the money. It was never meant to be truthful.

Plus they knew the dentally-challenged that makes up the SEC fan base would eat it up.

Agreed. It's been that way for years and years now - Bama, and the SEC Roy bus. The last consistent program they has was FLA with Tebow. And by consistent I mean 3-4 years in the late 90's.

No one in the country has built programs like Saban and Dabo have over the past decade.
