how unwilling he has been to openly acknowledge it and make changes.

Dabo is the best thing to ever happen to Clemson football. I respect him as a coach and as a person, and yes he deserves a chance to get it fixed. Any talk of him leaving or getting fired is ridiculous. I guess that's why this is so dumbfounding and disappointing.

I think sometimes commitment to certain thing causes a lack of objectivity. There was clearly something very different and very wrong right from the start this year, and "just a few plays away" was alarming, as the disconnect was vast.

I'm pulling for Dabo, and have not given up on him, but he has got to make some changes, whether it's coaching or player changes, or program and vision changes, whatever.
