The law of averages will come into play soon. The football

Jun 3, 2012, 7:43 PM

rivalry for example was heavy Clemson and so obviously SCar was gonna win a few. They've won 4 of the last 6 and will probably end up winning 7 of the last 10 based on history.

Same with baseball. They've beaten us like 6 in a row in postseason baseball. At some point, we will beat them.

These things come in waves. Right now, they're just better than us.

With all of those freshmen they have on that team they may be the team to beat for a while.

The law of averages is confusing sometimes...

Jun 3, 2012, 8:03 PM

If we win 90% of the time, there will still be a streak of 4 or 5 in a row against us popping up at some point.

The law of averages also says that South Carolina will be dominant at something for a little while - luckily it is baseball, which ranks third on the college sports radar. Hopefully we'll take the baton at football before them.

Fellows Ellis Johnson is gone and their defense will suffer. They defense got a lot better after he got there and so did their team.

Yes, Johnson is a good Defensive Coordinator. I agree with you regarding his abilities as a DC.

your turn. There is a reason we are losing to them and it hasn't been fixed! And until it is fixed we will continue to lose to them.

Agreed. I dont mean this disrespectful or as a flame in any way, but, the average result in sports is that the better team usually wins. We have simply been better these last few years.

Does this poster realize we are talking about real life here and not some video game or movie?

The whole "things won't be like this for long" or "things will go back to normal shortly after their turn" is ludicrous and I hope you can't really believe that.
